Hollywood Runs For Haiti 5K

PLEASE NOTE DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME ENDS AND THE CLOCKS GO BACK 1 HOUR. 

We are still on the beautiful Hollywood Beach Broadwalk at Hollywood North Beach Park at Sheridan Street and A1A.  Address 3601 N Ocean Drive.  Parking free for registrants until 8AM !

Event Pricing for 5K

• July 15th - Sept. 15th:  $25
• Sept. 16th - Oct. 16th:  $30
• Oct.  17th - Nov.  5th:   $35    
• Day of Race:  $40 

Event Schedule (Sunday, November 6th)   

• 6:30 - 7:00 AM - Day of Packet Pickup and registration
• 7:00 AM -  5K Run Start / Chip Timed (Anyone starting after 7:00AM sharp will not be timed)
• 8:00 - 8:15 AM - Kids Dash 1K Exact start time TBA at event 
• 8:15 AM - Awards ceremony

Important Dates: 

• Last Day to register to be guaranteed a T-Shirt:  Sat 10/20/22.  After that date orders will be filled as received. If a size runs out you will be given another size until all shirts are distributed.  After that you will be given a shirt from previous years 5K  or a Black Hollywood Healing Haiti shirt.  We have made this policy this year because as a non profit we want to limit unnecessary expenses such as over ordering T-Shirts.

• Price increase dates when registering for the 5K are Sept 16th - $30 / Oct. 17 - $35  Race Day - $40

The Course:

• The 5K course is not a certified 5K road race.  It is a loop course on a flat road surface.  Runners can enjoy the sunrise over the Atlantic Ocean, the ocean breeze and sound of the waves as they run along the picturesque Hollywood Beach Broadwalk. Further north on course enjoy the Sea Grape trees and and natural dunes along the beach road.
• Kids DASH a 1K fun run ( ages 7 and under) will be held along the final stretch of the course ending at the official finish line.  No timing. 
• The 5K race will be timed by AccuChip Timing and results will be posted here on RunSign Up results page and on the AccuChip website

• Event T- Shirts for all races 5K, Kids Dash and Virtual Run 100% Cotton Be sure to put your indicate your size when registering !
• Finisher Medals for 5K.
• Kids DASH Race Goodie Bags provided by Children's Medical Center. 
• FREE PARKING  Courtesy of Hollywood Democratic Club Just show evidence of registration at park entry gate and you park for free.  FYI- No free parking granted after 8AM. 
• Refreshments and snack bars before and after the race.

Awards:

• Top Overall Male and Female
• Top Male and Female in the following age groups: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+.  
  
• Finisher Medals for 5K participants.

CREATE OR JOIN A TEAM Once the total number of members registered for the 5K reaches or exceeds 15, pricing adjusted to $20 / participant.  Refunds automatically applied to registrants 1-14.
